LIQUID FOIL Waterproof Tanking Membrane – Aqua Build Bathroom & Shower Seal
LIQUID FOIL Waterproofing Membrane is a ready-to-use, one-component elastic tanking compound designed for long-lasting waterproof protection of walls, floors, and ceilings. Available in 15kg and 7.5kg Aqua Build units, it is suitable for demanding environments including bathrooms, showers, wet rooms, terraces, balconies, retaining walls, and below-ground structures.
The membrane performs exceptionally well as tile-backing waterproofing on plasterboard, gypsum boards, and tile backer boards. When cured, it forms a flexible, frost-resistant barrier that seals hairline cracks, accommodates movement, and protects substrates from long-term water damage.

How to Apply
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose coatings.
- Repair cracks, joints, and holes before application.
- Prime porous substrates using Deep Primer Pro or Acrylic Primer.
- Reinforce corners, joints, and penetrations with Aqua Build Waterproof Tape.
- Stir thoroughly and apply two coats by brush, allowing approx. 3 hours between coats.
- Allow 24 hours before tiling and 7 days before water exposure.
