General Purpose Render for Internal & External Masonry

MapeWall GPR Zero is an eco-friendly, CO₂-offset, cement-based general-purpose render suitable for internal and external masonry. It offers excellent workability, adhesion, and durability, and is ideal for levelling, dubbing out, or creating a sponge finish in layers up to 15 mm (max 40 mm overall). Apply by hand or spray for fast, consistent results.

Application Overview

Substrate Preparation

• Surfaces must be solid, clean, dust-free, and free from oil, grease, and paint

• Dampen highly absorbent substrates

• Prime smooth or poorly keyed surfaces with a suitable primer (e.g. Planicrete)

Mixing

• Mix 25 kg with 5.0–5.5 L clean water

• Mechanical mixing recommended for a smooth, lump-free consistency

Application

• Apply by trowel or spray in 10–15 mm layers (max 40 mm total)

• If necessary, reinforce with Mapetherm Net in the top third of the wet render

Finishing

• Level with a straight edge

• Finish with a sponge float or apply decorative coatings after curing

Curing

• Avoid application in strong sun or temperatures below +5°C

Limitations

• Not suitable for gypsum or gypsum-based substrates

• Avoid use in freezing or high-temperature conditions
