24V Battery Backup Pump System
The 24V Battery Backup Pump System is designed to provide secondary protection where failure of a primary pump, or loss of mains power, could result in flooding or water damage. The system operates automatically to support drainage continuity during emergency conditions.
The system includes a 24V DC submersible pump, control panel, three float switches, and a non-return valve. These components work together to monitor water levels and activate the backup pump when required.
System Operation
When rising water levels are detected or the primary pump is unable to operate, the control panel automatically activates the 24V backup pump. Audible and visual alarms are triggered to alert occupants to elevated water levels or system activation.
