CEMPROTEC E942 Cementitious Waterproof & Anti-Corrosion Coating
CEMPROTEC E942 is a two-component, water-based epoxy and polymer-modified cementitious coating designed to protect and waterproof concrete and ferrous metals. Its highly thixotropic formulation allows easy application by brush or spray, producing a smooth finish with excellent resistance to sagging.
The coating provides enhanced resistance to water, chemicals, abrasion and impact, making it suitable for demanding concrete protection and refurbishment applications. It can also be used as a standalone anti-corrosion coating for ferrous metals and provides high resistance to carbon dioxide and chloride ion diffusion. CEMPROTEC E942 is UKCA and CE marked to EN 1504-2.

Application & Coverage
CEMPROTEC E942 is supplied as a complete two-component system consisting of Part A liquid and Part B powder. The components should be mixed together in full and mixed for a minimum of five minutes until homogeneous.
For general applications, apply approximately 1mm per coat, with a second coat applied once the first coat has stabilised. Floors and decks can be treated with a single 2mm layer. The total finished coating should be at least 2mm thick for complete protection.
Coverage: Approximately 8.1m² per 30kg pack at 2mm thickness.
Yield: Approximately 16.2 litres per 30kg pack.

E942 is self-priming when applied directly to steel for maximum corrosion protection.
Can E942 be used over cracks and joints?
Yes. For joints or live cracks in concrete, the data sheet specifies applying a stripe coat of E942 and immediately embedding CEMPROTEC 2000-S before continuing with the overall coating system.
