Moisture Barrier Timber Flooring Adhesive – Epoxy Sealer EPR-31P

Epoxy Sealer EPR-31P is a high-performance, two-component epoxy-based moisture barrier and sealer, designed to suppress rising damp and residual construction moisture in porous subfloors. Ideal for pre-treating porous mineral subfloors before the application of Soudal's timber flooring adhesives, this durable and moisture-resistant primer enhances adhesion and structural integrity.

Application Instructions:

1. Acclimatise the Epoxy Sealer EPR-31P to room temperature before use.
2. Mix components thoroughly:
   • Punch through the plastic plug of Component B (upper container) to allow it to drain into Component A.
   • Use a variable speed electric drill with a mixing paddle to mix for at least 2 minutes until homogeneous.
   • Do not deviate from the prescribed mixing ratio, as it affects curing and mechanical performance.
3. Apply within 30 minutes after mixing:
   • Use a paint roller or brush – Avoid pouring directly onto the floor to prevent puddles.
   • For highly porous subfloors, apply a second crosswise coat after the first has dried.
   • For added adhesion, throw in quartz sand immediately after the second layer.
4. Allow complete drying before further flooring applications – Prevents crater formation and adhesion issues.
