FIXA POLYMERA® MS FLUID MS Polymer Liquid Waterproofing Membrane
FIXA POLYMERA® MS FLUID is a single-component, ready-to-use MS Polymer based liquid waterproofing membrane designed for waterproofing large horizontal and vertical surfaces. Its solvent-free and isocyanate-free formulation provides a flexible, UV-resistant coating that can also bridge capillary cracks up to 3mm.
The membrane is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and can be used across a wide range of mineral and non-mineral substrates, including concrete, stone, marble, ceramic, tiles, wood, glass, metal, brick, Betopan and aerated concrete. It is also suitable for balconies, terraces, inclined roofs, wet areas and below-ground areas subject to non-pressurised water and ground moisture.

Application & Surface Preparation
The substrate must be sound, solid, clean and free from materials that could prevent adhesion, including dust, oil, tar, paint, silicone, curing compounds, detergents and mould oils.
Weak concrete areas and poorly bonded plaster should be repaired or removed before application. Static and dynamic cracks should be treated using the appropriate repair or sealant products. Under normal conditions, a primer is not required, although the manufacturer recommends POLAN A Polyurethane Floor Primer where the surface is dusty or excessively wet.
POLYMERA MS FLUID is ready to use. Do not dilute or add water, solvent or other substances. The product should be mixed before use and applied in two layers perpendicular to each other, allowing approximately 6–12 hours between coats.
FIXA recommends using IMPERMO Waterproofing Net between the two layers. Corners can be bevelled after the first coat and reinforced using IMPERMO PVC Waterproofing Tape before applying the second coat.
The treated area can normally be opened for use after 24–48 hours, with final curing taking place after 7 days. Protect the freshly applied coating from water, rain, dew, frost and snow until completely dry.
Coverage & Packaging
The manufacturer's stated consumption is 1.40–1.50kg/m² for approximately 1mm thickness per layer, depending on surface roughness, absorption and application conditions. At least two layers are recommended.
POLYMERA MS FLUID is available in:

- 7kg plastic buckets containing a 7kg aluminium foil package
- 14kg plastic buckets containing 2 × 7kg aluminium foil packages
The 14kg packaging uses two separate 7kg aluminium packages to help prevent the product curing rapidly during application. The individual packages are intended for single use once opened.
Storage & Shelf Life
Unopened POLYMERA MS FLUID can be stored for 12 months between +10°C and +25°C in a dry environment protected from sunlight, with a maximum storage height of three layers.
