Flexcrete Tiefill is a rapid-setting, Class R4 waterproof tie-hole filler designed specifically for filling and sealing concrete tie holes created by formwork bolts and through-tie systems. This polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced repair mortar delivers a high-strength, durable and waterproof solution for tie holes, grout holes and voids around fixings in precast concrete.

Up to 10 Bar Water-Pressure Resistance

For applications where high water-pressure resistance is critical, Flexcrete Tiefill provides a waterproof seal capable of withstanding up to 10 bar water pressure after 72 hours' curing. This compares with BeSealed Sealing Plugs, advertised up to 6 bar, and RiveStop, advertised up to 8 bar depending on the product reference.

Tiefill is supplied as a single-component powder, requiring only the addition of clean water on site. Its high bond strength, low permeability and excellent low-sag properties make it ideal for creating a durable, watertight seal where protection against water ingress is critical.

Tiefill sets in approximately 30 minutes at 20°C, providing a rapid and effective solution for sealing concrete tie holes.

Flexcrete Flupp Plugs

For through-tie applications, Flexcrete Flupp Plugs are available in 22 mm, 26 mm and 32 mm sizes.

The appropriate plug is inserted into the prepared tie-hole sleeve to help prevent water tracking around the remaining plastic tube before the void is filled with Tiefill. This provides a practical approach to sealing the tie-hole and creating a durable, waterproof finish.

The plug should be selected to suit the particular formwork tie system and hole configuration. Always follow the manufacturer's current installation instructions.

An 8 kg pack of Flexcrete Tiefill produces approximately 4.1 litres of mixed mortar.

Actual coverage depends on the diameter, depth and configuration of the tie hole, as well as the particular formwork tie system being used.
