BITUTHENE® 8000S Self-Adhesive Waterproof Membrane
BITUTHENE® 8000S is an advanced self-adhesive waterproof membrane designed to provide long-term protection against water ingress, water vapour and hazardous ground gases in below-ground concrete structures. Manufactured using proven rubber bitumen adhesive technology with a tough grey HDPE composite carrier film, it delivers exceptional durability, superior waterproofing performance and excellent resistance to aggressive ground conditions. The distinctive light grey surface makes accidental damage easy to identify during installation, allowing fast inspection and simple repairs where required.
Developed specifically for installation in warmer conditions, BITUTHENE® 8000S is suitable for application at temperatures between +15°C and +35°C. It is ideal for waterproofing basements, foundations, retaining walls, lift pits and other below-ground structures in accordance with BS 8102. The membrane is also BBA-certified as a gas-resistant barrier and can be incorporated into complete waterproofing systems with BITUTHENE® Primer S2, BITUTHENE® LM, PREPRUFE® membranes and HYDRODUCT® drainage membranes.
