Helix Ties
• Available in 9mm width
• Lengths of 80mm, 100mm, 180mm, 200mm, 220mm, 240mm, 260mm, 280mm and 300mm
• Longer lengths are available on special order
• The unique design of the Helix SDS power drive tool recesses the tie
Specification: Helix Super Spiro Ties are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel (type 304)
Application
• Brick to concrete (mortar joint or solid brick)
• Brick multi leaves
• Repairing brick arches and lintels
• Brick to timber (mortar joint or solid brick)
• Stone, marble or granite panels to concrete
Installation
• Drill Pilot hole 6.5mm/7mm, diameter depending on the density of materials. Drill a pilot hole to a predetermined depth through masonry and into inner leaf
• Load the Helix tie into the Helix SDS Power Drive tool. Set on (hammer action only) drive in the tie
• The drive tool automatically recesses the tie into the face on the masonry
• The pilot hole is colour matched to leave the building unmarked
• The ties by their design fix along the whole length of the tie
