Mapei Idrostop is a hydrophilic, expanding rubber profile designed for creating watertight construction joints in civil, industrial, and hydraulic projects. Once in contact with water, it swells to form a secure, long-lasting waterproof barrier.

Where to Use

• Construction joints in concrete beds and elevation walls

• PVC or steel pipe penetrations in swimming pools, tanks, and reservoirs

• Areas with dense reinforcing, where traditional waterstops are difficult to install

• Hydraulic structures including tunnels, dams, sewage plants, and potable water reservoirs
