MAPETHERM AR1 GG – Large-Grain Cementitious Mortar for Insulation Panels
MAPETHERM AR1 GG is a high-performance, one-component large-grain cementitious mortar designed for bonding and levelling insulation panels in thermal insulation systems. Suitable for internal and external use, it ensures strong adhesion and a smooth, reinforced finish.
Where to Use

Bonds thermal-insulating panels such as foam/extruded polystyrene, expanded polystyrene, mineral fibres, and cork directly to render, masonry, or concrete on walls and ceilings.

Acts as a reinforcing coat for insulation panels with embedded fibreglass mesh in thermal insulation systems.
Recommendations

Not suitable for bonding panels to metallic surfaces or substrates with large movements.

Avoid use on panels with smooth surfaces (e.g., kraft paper-coated mineral fibres, skinned extruded polystyrene, coated polyurethane).
