RIW Flexiseal Pro Primer – 5L & 15L
RIW Flexiseal Pro Primer is a two-pack, solvent-free, polymer-modified epoxide primer designed to prepare substrates before applying RIW Flexiseal Pro waterproofing membrane. It forms a high-adhesion conditioning layer and can be applied to damp surfaces, making it suitable for demanding waterproofing applications.
The primer is suitable for application by brush, roller or spray and is used beneath Flexiseal Pro on concrete, masonry, steel and timber substrates. Available in 5L and 15L packs, it provides a theoretical coverage of approximately 4m² per litre.

Application
All surfaces should be smooth, clean, sound and free from frost, oil, grease, condensation and other contamination. Standing water should be removed and unsuitable or damaged areas should be properly prepared before application.
Apply one coat of Flexiseal Pro Primer by brush, medium-pile roller or spray. The primer should be allowed to become tacky to the touch or dry before applying Flexiseal Pro. It should not be thinned and must be applied as supplied.
The primer is supplied as a two-part system consisting of a base and hardener. The base should be mechanically stirred for 3 minutes, followed by the addition of the hardener and thorough mixing until a uniform colour is achieved. The components must not be split.
At 23°C, the primer requires approximately 4–6 hours before overcoating with Flexiseal Pro. Application should not be attempted below 5°C.
