RIW Liquid Asphaltic Composition (LAC)
RIW Liquid Asphaltic Composition (LAC) is a cold-applied bitumen waterproofing membrane designed to provide long-lasting protection against water, water vapour and radon gas. Applied in two coats, it cures to form a seamless, flexible black membrane that is suitable for below-ground waterproofing, damp proofing and structural tanking applications.
Ideal for new build and refurbishment projects, RIW LAC bonds to concrete, masonry and steel, creating a durable waterproof barrier for basements, foundations, retaining walls and ground floors. Its flexible formulation accommodates minor structural movement while maintaining excellent resistance to sulphates and moisture, making it suitable for Type A waterproofing systems designed in accordance with BS 8102.
