SumpFlush Recessed Cover, Sealed, Locking, Galv, Inlay 450mm x 450mm
Recessed, sealed, locking galvanised steel cover with 450mm x 450mm inlay, specified as FACTA AA.
This cover is supplied as part of the SumpFlush wastewater pumping system specification for applications where a solid top, locking access cover is required.
System Context
The SumpFlush is a fully automatic wastewater pumping system suitable for pumping surface and/or ground water to a higher level when gravity drainage is not possible and/or economical to install.
The system provides up to 65 litre storage capacity depending on inlet depth and can accept water from car parks, car washes, floor areas, downpipes, cavity membrane systems, or similar applications.
The system is not suitable for receiving foul waste. For foul water packaged pumping stations, contact our sales team for specification advice.
System Construction
The SumpFlush system consists of a polyethylene tank, an automatic wastewater submersible pump, and a solid top, locking galvanised steel access cover specified as FACTA AA.
Discharge & Installation
Discharge is via solvent welded 1¼″ Class E PVC. Optional discharge reducer kits can increase the external discharge diameter to 1½″ or 2″ to help reduce friction loss.
Inlet positions can be set to suit site requirements. Inlet information can be supplied at the time of order or drilled on site.
Specification Guidance
For groundwater and surface water applications where inflow cannot be controlled, twin pump systems complete with a high level alarm and battery backup system should be used in accordance with BS 8102:2022 and PCA Guidelines. High level alarms and battery backup systems can be specified as required.
