Installation Guide

1. Cut the Mortar Joint – Extend at least 500mm beyond the crack using a disc cutter.

2. Clean & Flush the Slot – Remove debris and flush thoroughly with water.

3. Determine Vertical Spacing – Position reinforcement every 4–6 brick courses (300–450mm apart).

4. Set Depth of Slot

   • Single cavity wall: 25mm depth

   • Solid wall: 45mm depth

5. Inject Super Grout – Apply using the Clever Shield Grout Injection Gun.

6. Insert the Bar – Push the Clever Shield Super Spiro Bar into the grout, ensuring full embedment.

7. Fill & Finish – Add more Super Grout, leaving 10–15mm from the face, then repoint the mortar bed.

8. Reinforce Corners & Openings – For cracks within 500mm of an external corner, bend the bar around the corner and bond into the return wall for extra strength.
