Description
Superfast Wood Epoxy Putty Stick is a wood-filled epoxy repair putty in an easy-to-use stick format used as a filler in wood restoration and for high-strength bonding in repairs.
When cured, Superfast Wood turns to a pale beige colour and shares a hardness and density similar to wood. It can be carved and sculpted to hold intricate details and it does not rot, making it suitable for garden and outdoor repairs.
Superfast Wood will bond wood together for fixing furniture. It also bonds wood to metals, glass, masonry and many plastics when used in craft or restoration tasks. It is resistant to water, chemicals and temperature extremes and is quick working, hardening within one hour of application.
How to use Superfast Wood Epoxy Putty Stick as a filler and for restoration
Superfast Wood comes in a pre-formatted 114g stick which is 22mm diameter x 175mm long. To use, you simply cut off the required amount of putty from the stick and knead it by hand.
Whilst soft, the putty is shaped and used as required. For wood filler applications, it is pushed into holes and cracks where it will cure to fill the damage area. For bonding, you apply the putty and use it to attach the pieces requiring repair together.
Superfast Wood has a work life of 15-25 minutes. Within one hour, it will harden and form a cohesive bond. Once cured, it can be drilled, sawed, filed, sanded, painted or stained.
It contains no solvents or VOC’s, it is non-flammable and releases no noxious fumes. It will not shrink or pull away and the unused portion of Wood Stick stays fresh for future use when saved in its original package.
