A two components high solid epoxy primer/coating based on mastershield resin technology
- Good adhesion on St 3 pre-treated steel substrate and shop primers.
- Improved adhesion on damp containing substrates.
- Excellent anti-corrosive properties.
- Hardening possible down to 0 °C.
- Approved by GL for ballast water tank application in accordance with IMO Resolution MSC.215 (82).

Recommended film thickness: 100-300 μm d.f.t. per layer / 120-365 μm w.f.t. per layer (undiluted)
Theoretical spreading rate: At 100 μm d.f.t. 8.2 m2/L/ At 300 μm d.f.t. 2.7 m2/L
Practical spreading rate: Depending on several factors like shape of object, profile of surface, Method of application, application circumstances and experience
A few guiding principles are:
Brush/roller : 85-90% of the theoretical spreading rate
Flashpoint ISO 1523:
Base >25°C
Hardener >25°C
Epoxy thinner XBF 23°C
Dry temperature resistance: 120°C
Shelf life: At least 12 months, provided that it has been stored in closed original packaging at a dry and cool spot.
