Clever Shield Brick Plugs for Cavity Drain Membranes (100 Pack)
Clever Shield Brick Plugs are professional-grade fixings designed to securely anchor cavity drain membranes to masonry substrates in both above-ground and below-ground waterproofing systems.
Engineered for strength, reliability and fast installation, these membrane fixing plugs provide secure mechanical fixing into brick, blockwork, stone and concrete, ensuring membranes remain firmly fixed during installation and throughout the lifespan of the waterproofing system.
Each plug features a large 35mm serrated head designed to hold cavity membranes securely while allowing plaster or render finishes to bond effectively. For installations requiring enhanced protection, an optional waterproof sealing washer can be used to maintain the integrity of the waterproofing system.

Installation Guide
- Drill a 10mm hole into the wall to a depth greater than 60mm.
- Position the cavity drain membrane against the wall.
- Insert the Clever Shield Brick Plug through the membrane into the drilled hole.
- Tap the plug gently with a hammer until the head sits flush with the membrane surface.
- Where required, install with a waterproof sealing washer.
