PU Backer Rods
PU Backer Rods are round in profile and made from Polyurethane Foam. The open-cell backer rods are used as non-adhesive backfilling in construction joints and to ensure correct joint dimensions for sealants. Supplied in 1m lengths.

Instructions
- Ensure that the diameter of the PU backer rod is 50% larger than the gap between the two building substrates.
Applications
- Used to control depth and shape of sealant joints and avoid 3 sided adhesion. Suitable as a draught strip.
