Clever Shield 8mm Helical Remedial Wall Ties are engineered to screw into brick, masonry, or concrete when driven into pilot holes using a hammer drill’s impact action. The ties anchor securely within undercut helical grooves, applying minimal stress to surrounding brickwork. This efficient design provides a quick, reliable solution for wall tie replacement.

What Wall Tie Length Do You Need?

These lengths are recommended for walls constructed with 110 mm bricks.
If working with 100 mm metric bricks, adjust measurements accordingly.

Installation Requirements

SDS Drill Bits

• 195–255 mm ties: 6 mm × 360 mm SDS drill bit

• 270–295 mm ties: 6 mm × 450 mm SDS drill bit

• Engineering bricks / structural concrete: 7 mm drill bit

• Perforated bricks: 5 mm pilot hole

Ensure the pilot hole is at least 10 mm deeper than the tie length to allow correct recessing and anchorage.
