MAPEFER 1K is a high-performance, one-component anti-corrosion cementitious mortar designed to protect steel reinforcement rods during concrete repair work. Engineered for professional-grade durability, it offers a re-alkalising, corrosion-inhibiting barrier that prevents rust and enhances the lifespan of reinforced concrete structures.
Formulated with water-dispersed polymers, cement binders, and corrosion inhibitors, MAPEFER 1K ensures reliable protection in both above-ground and underground applications. Ideal for use prior to concrete repairs with Mapegrout mortars or cement mortars modified with synthetic resin latexes, this easy-to-apply solution adheres strongly and forms a durable, uniform coating.

Application Instructions:
Apply two even coats of MAPEFER 1K by brush to rust-free steel reinforcement rods. Allow 90–120 minutes between coats, and ensure a total thickness of approximately 2 mm. Proceed with concrete repair using Mapegrout products once the surface is dry (6–24 hours depending on temperature).
