MAPEGUM WPS is a high-performance, ready-to-use liquid waterproofing membrane designed to protect interior surfaces in wet areas like bathrooms, showers, wet rooms, kitchens, and laundry spaces. Fast-drying and solvent-free, this flexible tanking membrane forms a seamless, water-resistant barrier beneath tile, stone, or other finishes.

Where to Use MAPEGUM WPS:

• Waterproofing under tiles in bathrooms, wet rooms & showers

• Protecting plasterboard, tilebacker boards, cementitious render

• Sealing over existing tiles, anhydrite screeds, or stone surfaces

• Suitable for walls and floors in damp or humid environments

Application Tips:

• Use Mapeband or Mapeband PE 120 tape for joint reinforcement

• Apply two thin coats crosswise for full waterproofing

• Total thickness required: 0.8 mm wet / 0.5 mm dry

• Wait ~60 minutes between coats, depending on conditions

• Coverage: Approx. 1.2 kg/m² for complete two-coat system
