Newton HydroBond 402-CCSM – Advanced External Waterproofing & Radon Barrier
Newton HydroBond 402-CCSM is a high-performance composite membrane designed for the external waterproofing of below-ground foundation structures, basements, water-holding tanks, culverts, and tunnels. Its flexibility, durability, and superior adhesion eliminate the need for additional protection boards or a smooth blinding layer when used as a ground-level radon damp-proof membrane (DPM).
This LDPE membrane with a non-woven geotextile fleece features excellent crack-bridging properties, ensuring continuous protection even when structural movement occurs. When pre-applied, the wet concrete absorbs into the fleece, creating an integral mechanical bond that prevents water migration between the membrane and the structure.
HydroBond 402-CCSM can also be post-applied and used alongside other Newton waterproofing products, providing a comprehensive, integrated system for protecting structures from water ingress at construction joints, service entries, and movement joints.
