HydroCoat 203-RM – Rapid-Setting Structural Repair Mortar
HydroCoat 203-RM is a single-component, fast-setting Portland cement-based structural mortar, designed for high-performance concrete repair in roads, runways, bridges, decks, floors, and footpaths. This polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced mortar quickly develops high adhesive and compressive strength, making it an ideal solution for durable and rapid repairs.
With exceptional compatibility to host concrete, HydroCoat 203-RM cures rapidly while maintaining structural integrity, even in low temperatures. It can be applied up to 100mm deep as supplied, or extended to 300mm with clean, washed, sharp sand for screeds and deep repairs.
Key Benefits:
✅ Advanced cement chemistry – Incorporates fibres & styrene acrylic copolymer technology for superior durability
✅ Rapid curing & strength development – Ideal for quick return-to-service applications
✅ Use in all weather conditions – Maintains reliable performance at sub-zero temperatures
✅ High bond strength – Exceeds tensile strength of concrete for superior adhesion
✅ Quick-setting formula – Achieves 10MPa in just 10 minutes at 20°C
✅ Resists 10 bar water pressure – High-density matrix ensures waterproof durability
✅ Excellent diffusion resistance – Protects against acid gases & chloride ion penetration
✅ Sulphate-resistant – Meets BRE Special Digest 1 DS-5/5m standards, ideal for sewage & wastewater applications
✅ Non-toxic & potable water approved – Compliant with Regulation 31 for drinking water applications
✅ No priming required – Can be bulk-mixed for economic application
Typical Applications:
✔ Structural concrete repairs – Roads, runways, bridges, decks, and footpaths
✔ Floor & deck restoration – Rapid curing for minimal downtime
✔ Deep repairs (up to 300mm) – Bulked with sand or aggregate
✔ Sewage & wastewater treatment structures – High sulphate resistance
