PROVAP S/A is a high-performance self-adhesive bituminous membrane designed for vapour and gas control in roofing and high-humidity environments. Reinforced with a composite aluminium foil and glass-fibre mat, it delivers exceptional waterproofing without the need for hot works or open flames, supporting safe, flame-free installation.

Installation Overview

1. Prepare the substrate: ensure the deck is clean, dry, sound and free from dust, oils and loose material. Follow manufacturer guidance on any priming required.
2. Set out the rolls: plan roll layout and overlaps so that laps, edges and details are correctly positioned.
3. Peel and bond: remove the release film progressively and press the membrane firmly onto the substrate, avoiding creases and trapped air.
4. Consolidate adhesion: roll the surface, paying particular attention to laps and detail areas to ensure full bond.
5. Complete the build-up: once PROVAP S/A is installed, proceed with the specified insulation and compatible waterproofing system over the membrane.
