The Visqueen Radon R400 Membrane is a high-performance 0.4mm (1600 gauge) thermoplastic membrane designed to prevent the ingress of radon gas while also acting as an effective damp proof membrane (DPM).
Manufactured from virgin polymer, this flexible and durable membrane is suitable for use in both basic and full radon protection systems, delivering long-term protection in modern construction.

Installation Guidelines:
Install on a smooth, clean, and level substrate
Lay membrane loose and ensure it is clean and dry before jointing
Seal joints using:
- 150mm overlap (taped)
- 100mm overlap (heat welded)
Seal all penetrations using top hat units or detailing strips
Protect membrane after installation to avoid UV and site damage
⚠ Not suitable where hydrostatic pressure is present
⚠ Do not install below 5°C
