RIW Structureseal Pre-Applied Bentonite Waterproofing Membrane
RIW Structureseal is a premium pre-applied waterproofing membrane designed to protect below-ground concrete structures from water ingress. Manufactured from a high-strength geotextile composite encapsulating natural sodium bentonite, it forms a durable waterproof barrier that bonds directly to concrete and self-seals around minor cracks caused by settlement or shrinkage. Suitable for new-build basements, retaining walls, foundation slabs and boundary line construction, Structureseal delivers long-term waterproofing performance for Type A waterproofing systems in accordance with BS 8102.
When exposed to water, the sodium bentonite expands to create a dense, monolithic waterproof layer capable of resisting hydrostatic pressure while preventing water migration between the membrane and the structure. Its pre-applied design requires no primers or adhesives, allowing fast installation in a wide range of weather conditions. Structureseal is BBA Approved and suitable for use beneath reinforced concrete slabs, against retaining walls, piling systems and other below-ground concrete applications where reliable waterproofing is essential.
