Fire Rated Sealant for Passive Fire Protection & Construction Joints
Soudaseal FR is a professional-grade fire-resistant hybrid polymer sealant and adhesive developed for use in passive fire protection systems. Based on advanced SMX® polymer technology, it provides a highly elastic, fire-rated seal while maintaining excellent adhesion to a wide range of construction materials.
Designed for both internal and external applications, Soudaseal FR delivers fire resistance of up to 4 hours when used within approved fire protection systems. The formulation is completely free from solvents, silicones and isocyanates, making it suitable for a broad range of construction and fire-stopping applications.
The sealant is paintable, weatherproof, non-staining on porous stone substrates and offers primerless adhesion to most common building materials. It is commonly used for fire-rated expansion joints, connection joints and the installation of fire-resistant window and door frames.
