Superfast Plastic Epoxy Putty Stick

Superfast Plastic Epoxy Putty Stick is a semi-flexible epoxy putty which sets white and has been specially formulated for damage repair and bonding of all major plastic types including PVC.

The most common use for Superfast Plastic is in pipe repair. It is used to fix leaking bathroom, kitchen and industrial pipes made from PVC, ABS and many other types of plastic by filling cracks and sealing holes.

Aside from pipe repair, Superfast Plastic fixes broken plastic parts by bonding them back together, including furniture, as well as bonding plastic to other materials such as metal, wood, glass and masonry. Where plastic has become damaged or is missing, it works as a filler to seamlessly blend in with existing surfaces.

Superfast Plastic is resistant to water, chemicals and temperature extremes and is suitable for both exterior and interior use. Within two to three hours of applying Superfast Plastic, systems can be put back into service.

The only plastics which Superfast Plastic is not compatible with are polyolefins (polyethylene/polypropylene).

How to repair PVC, ABS and other plastics using a Superfast Plastic Epoxy Putty Stick

Superfast Plastic comes in a pre-formatted 114g stick which is 22mm diameter x 175mm long. To use, you simply cut off the required amount of putty from the stick and knead it by hand. The initial Plastic Stick is blue but as it is kneaded, the dye within the epoxy becomes white to indicate a successful mixing.

Whilst soft, the putty is shaped and used as required. For pipe repair and other filling applications, it is pushed into cracks where it will cure to seal the hole. For bonding, you apply the putty and use it to attach the pieces requiring repair together.

Superfast Plastic has a work life of approximately 20 minutes. Within 35-40 minutes, it will harden and form a cohesive bond. A full repair is completed in 2-3 hours. Once cured, it can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded, or painted.

It contains no solvents or VOC’s, it is non-flammable and releases no noxious fumes. It will not shrink or pull away and the unused portion of Plastic Stick stays fresh for future use when saved in its original package.
