How It Works

SylPad is applied during the Wrap & Seal repair process, sitting directly over the leak between layers of tape.

As additional layers are wrapped, SylPad alters the angle of the tape, concentrating the elastic force over the leak rather than dispersing it—resulting in a stronger, higher-pressure seal.

How to Use:

1. Mark the leak location clearly before starting
2. Apply Wrap & Seal, anchoring to one side of the leak
3. Build up initial layers directly over the damaged area
4. Place SylPad over the leak position
5. Continue wrapping to secure SylPad between layers
6. Apply additional Wrap & Seal if required until leak stops
7. Finish with a SylWrap Pipe Repair Bandage for reinforcement
