ULTRATOP – Aliphatic Polyurethane Protective Coating

ULTRATOP is a single-component, aliphatic polyurethane resin specifically formulated to coat and protect ULTRAFLEX® BBA-certified aromatic polyurethane liquid membranes. Designed for roof applications and exposed coverings, it forms a flexible, continuous, and glossy protective layer with exceptional mechanical properties.

With high resistance to UV radiation, extreme temperatures, abrasion, and stress, ULTRATOP ensures long-lasting durability while remaining easy to clean and maintain.

Application Guidelines:

• Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is dry and free from moisture due to capillary action or wicking.
• Temperature Requirements: Apply when the substrate temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point, and the ambient temperature is at least 8°C.
• Application Methods:
  • Brush or roller for standard applications.
  • Airless sprayer (nozzle: 0.007–0.011”; tip pressure: 180–200 kg/cm²).
  • Dilution: Can be diluted with pure xylene (up to 5%) for airless spraying.

Performance & Coverage:

• Yield: ±150 g/m² per coat.
• Tack-Free Time at 23°C: ±25 minutes.
• Recoat Time at 23°C: 1–48 hours.
• Coverage per Drum: 30m².
