Visqueen 100mm Double Sided Butyl Tape 100mm x 15m
Visqueen 100mm Double Sided Butyl Tape is an extra-wide, double-sided pressure-sensitive butyl sealing tape designed for bonding membrane and DPC lap joints. The black butyl-based adhesive provides reliable bonding and helps resist water ingress and ground gases across a wide range of Visqueen membrane and damp proofing systems.
At 100mm wide and 15m long, the tape provides a generous bonding area to improve joint strength. It forms part of Visqueen's BBA and BDA Agrement certificated systems and is a third-party assessed jointing tape.

Installation
Before application, ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and fully supported. Avoid unsupported areas of jointing.
Apply the tape to the lap area and remove the release paper. For DPCs, overlap adjoining sheets by a minimum of 100mm; for membranes, use a minimum 150mm overlap. Apply pressure to the jointed area, for example with a roller, to ensure a full bond is achieved. Where specified, seal the membrane lap edge with the appropriate Visqueen single-sided tape.
The tape should be installed when temperatures are above 5°C. In cold weather, store the tape in a warm location before use.
Storage & Handling
Store rolls horizontally in their original packaging in a warm, dry and clean environment. Do not expose the tape to prolonged periods of ultraviolet light. In cold weather, move the tape to a warm location before installation.
