Application Process:

✅ Step 1: Surface Preparation

• Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
• If applying over a waterproofed surface, confirm that the HydroTank system or coating is fully cured.

✅ Step 2: Membrane Installation

• Roll out the CM8 Geotextile Membrane against the external wall or structure.
• The geotextile side should face outward, allowing water filtration while preventing soil ingress.
• Cut the membrane to fit around penetrations or obstacles.

✅ Step 3: Fixing the Membrane

• Secure the membrane using Wykamol Brick Plugs or mechanical fixings, spaced 500mm apart.
• Maintain 100mm overlaps between membrane sheets to ensure an effective drainage system.

✅ Step 4: Drainage System Integration

• Install a perimeter drainage system (e.g., land drain or Wykamol Drainage Channel) at the base of the wall.
• Ensure the system directs water to a sump, soakaway, or designated discharge point.

✅ Step 5: Backfilling

• Backfill with clean, coarse gravel or free-draining material to enhance water movement.
• Avoid sharp objects or large stones that could damage the membrane.
