Clever Shield CM8 Cavity Drain Mesh Membrane – BBA Certified Type C Waterproofing
The Clever Shield CM8 Cavity Drain Mesh Membrane is a high-performance 8mm studded HDPE cavity drain membrane with a tough bonded mesh lathing designed for direct plastering and dry lining systems.
Engineered for Type C drained waterproofing protection, the membrane creates a drainage cavity between the structure and internal finish, allowing groundwater to be safely managed through perimeter drainage channels and sump pump systems.
The integrated mesh surface allows direct application of plaster, adhesive dabs and plasterboard, making this membrane ideal for basement waterproofing projects where a clean, finished wall surface is required.
The system delivers a Grade 3 or Grade 4 dry environment when installed as part of a full cavity drain waterproofing system in accordance with BS 8102 and NHBC Chapter 5.4.
