Suppliers and Distributors of Liquid Polymer Flat Roof Waterproof Coatings and Structural Protective Polyurea and SilaCote Membranes are Experiencing Price Increases.

Having come out of the latest Covid-19 lockdown and with the easing of the restrictions, the UK construction industry is at a seven-year high.

The demand for key construction materials has inevitably risen, unfortunately supplies have slipped, and prices are rising. With factories being closed globally due to the Covid-19 pandemic there is currently a shortage of raw materials used in the production of polymer coatings. This problem is compounded by the impact of Brexit and the additional import costs.

In the light of the increased manufacturing and import costs, global vendors of polyurea and SilaCote coatings have raised their prices.

In view of the new manufacturers prices we have had to increase some of our liquid coating costs.

"The good news is, we are keeping all of our hand applied polyurea and SilaCote prices the same for a further month and we have only added a minimal increase at this stage to the hotspray applied liquid coatings". However, since this an ongoing issue we shall be reviewing our prices again at the end of July.

Projects that we have already priced and provided written quotes to flat roof applicators, architects, project managers and specifiers shall still be honoured.
