Description
CEM 805 Active is a one-component, polyurethane-based, solvent-free, hydroswelling sealing agent for sealing construction joints and around pipe penetration. It cures and swells in the presence of moisture.
CEM 805 Active will typically become firm in 24 to 36 hours. Curing time is dependent on temperature and humidity conditions. For example, curing time will reduce if the relative humidity and temperature are higher.
Uses
- Solvent free
- Can be applied to concrete, PVC, HDPE and steel
- Can be used as a first line filler for cracks and voids, even on lightly humid, smooth or rough surfaces
- Expands up to 200% of original volume
- Extremely flexible which adapts to irregular surface of the substrate
- Easy application with standard caulking gun
- Will exceed typical life span of a structure
- Good all-round chemical resistance
- WRAS Approved - Can be used in contact with potable water
