Pack & Seal Electrical Sealant Putty

Pack & Seal Electrical Sealant Putty is a non setting sealant putty for packing out cable boxes to prevent the ingress of moisture, sealing around cable runs, blocking holes and making gaskets for extremely uneven faces.

It seals cable holes through walls, metal and most other substrates. Because Pack & Seal does not set, it can be easily removed when repairs need to be carried out to the installations which have been sealed.

Pack & Seal can also be used to create seals around pipes, gasketing between uneven surfaces and in any other application where a non setting putty is desired.

Two versions of Pack & Seal are available. Pack & Seal Clear is transparent, allowing the condition of wiring packed out in junction boxes to be seen and PCB labels read without the need for removing the putty. It blends in with background surfaces when sealing through holes.

Pack & Seal Red is a fire retardant version. Its bright red colour makes it easily visible to indicate where it has been used.

How to use Pack & Seal Electrical Sealant Putty to make a non setting repair

Pack & Seal is easy to use, simply take the required amount of putty and push it firmly into the area requiring sealing. Once the connector box, area around cables or hole has been completely filled leaving no gaps, then the application is complete.

To regain access to the area filled with Pack & Seal, simply peel out the putty. It can be reused after removal. When stored in unopened in a cool, dry location and out of direct sunlight, Pack & Seal has a minimum shelf life of 12 months.

Pack & Seal can be used in conjunction with Wrap & Seal Pipe Burst Tape to seal junction boxes against moisture. After filling the cavity with putty, cables can be wrapped using Wrap & Seal which fuses to itself to create a solid rubber layer of insulation.
