PRIMER PU-1000 is a single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane resin designed to enhance bonding and improve surface leveling before applying DESMOPOL or TECNOCOAT liquid waterproofing systems. With a high solids content, this primer ensures strong adhesion on porous substrates like concrete and mortar, making it an essential preparatory layer for effective and long-lasting waterproofing.

Ideal Applications:

• Priming porous substrates before applying DESMOPOL or TECNOCOAT membranes.
• Bonding for waterproofing membrane repairs and overlap work.
• Leveling and sealing concrete or cement surfaces before liquid membrane application.

Application Guidelines:

• Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is flat, clean, dry, and as hard as possible.
• Application Methods: Can be applied using roller, brush, or airless spray equipment.
• Surface Humidity Tolerance: Maximum 5% surface humidity. Do not apply on damp or water-exuding surfaces (e.g., condensation, leaks, phreatic level pressure).
• Dilution: Up to 5% with DESMOSOLVENT for low-absorption surfaces.
• Coverage: 25-30m² per application (varies depending on substrate condition).
• Recommended Application Thickness: 150-300 g/m² in one or several thin layers (avoid thick coats).
