Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex – Advanced Flexible Waterproofing for Earth-Retaining Structures

Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex is a highly flexible, two-component bitumen/rubber waterproofing membrane designed for external waterproofing of basements, foundations, and earth-retaining structures. This environmentally friendly, solvent-free system forms a seamless, fully bonded barrier that effectively prevents water ingress and radon gas penetration, ensuring long-lasting protection.

By combining polymers, polystyrene fillers, and a reactive powder, HydroBond 2K-Flex chemically reacts upon mixing to create a thick yet highly flexible waterproofing layer. It easily fills voids, cracks, and joints, adapting to substrate movements for superior crack bridging. Application is effortless with a trowel or airless spray machine, making installation quick and efficient.

Coverage & Application Requirements:

To comply with DIN 18195, Class W2.1-E, HydroBond 2K-Flex must be applied in two coats to achieve a 4mm cured film thickness.

• Wet application rate: 5.6 litres/m²
• Total dry/cured membrane thickness: 4mm

A 30L tub (plus ancillaries) provides a typical coverage rate of 5.6L/m².
