Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick

Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick is a titanium-filled epoxy putty which has been specifically formulated for the repair of pipes and metalwork exposed to high temperature up to 280°C.

It seals holes and cracks in extreme temperature pipework – such as steam pipes and pipework in industry – and fills in and repairs small areas of damage caused by pitting and corrosion, restoring surface profile.

Superfast Titanium is also used to fix tanks, tools and equipment, stripped threads, blow holes, moulds, patterns, casting, duct-work and automotive parts.

It bonds to most materials including metals, masonry, wood, ceramics and plastics. As well as high temperatures, the putty is resistant to chemicals and water, it will not rust or corrode, and it can be used in both interior and exterior settings.

How to carry out a high temperature pipe repair using Superfast Titanium Epoxy Putty Stick

Superfast Titanium comes in a pre-formatted 114g stick which is 22mm diameter x 175mm long. To use, you simply cut off the required amount of putty from the stick and knead it by hand.

Whilst soft, the putty is pushed into holes and cracks in pipes and metalwork exposed to high temperature where it will set rock hard, sealing the hole. For bonding, you apply the putty and use it to attach pieces together.

Superfast Titanium has a work life of approximately 90 minutes and it can be worked within eight hours. A full cure is achieved after 72 hours. It cures to a golden-brown, titanium colour and once cured, it can be tapped, drilled, screwed, sawed, machined, ground, filed, or painted.

Titanium High Temperature Epoxy Putty contains no solvents or VOC’s, it is non-flammable and releases no noxious fumes. It will not shrink or pull away and the unused portion of Titanium Stick stays fresh for future use when saved in its original package. It will not rust or corrode.
