ULTRAFLEX® – BBA-Certified High-Performance Liquid Waterproofing System
ULTRAFLEX® is a cold-applied, single-component polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane designed for new and existing roof surfaces where a fully bonded, seamless finish is required. The system is supported by BBA certification and includes NHBC acceptance when installed in line with the relevant certificate and standards. Pallet-rate savings are available for bulk orders.
- Best for: flat & pitched roofs, balconies, terraces, walkways and gutters
- System build-up: ULTRAFLEX® used with Ultraflex Matting (wet-on-wet) and finished with a suitable topcoat where required
- Typical substrates: bitumen membranes, asphalt, plywood/OSB, concrete, brick and metals (surface suitability depends on condition and preparation)

Coverage & Key Technical Points
- Coverage: 1 drum typically covers 8–10 m² depending on surface and condition.
- Storage / shelf life: typically 12 months when stored correctly (refer to TDS).
- Storage temperature: typically 5°C to 35°C (refer to TDS).
Installation Overview
- Prepare: ensure the substrate is clean, sound and suitable for coating.
- Detail first: complete trims, perimeters and repairs before coating the main area.
- Wet-on-wet reinforcement: apply ULTRAFLEX®, embed Ultraflex Matting, then saturate with further ULTRAFLEX® to fully encapsulate the matting.
- Inspect: check for pinholes or dry areas and touch in as required.
- Topcoat: apply the specified topcoat (e.g., Ultratop) within the stated overcoat window where required by the system design.
